The Danger Dogs believe in giving back and have supported numerous charities over the last years.
Here is a list of wonderful charities that are doing good works all over the world. They have all been personally ‘vetted’ by me.
- The Nature of Wildworks (www.natureofwildworks.org) – has a wildlife care and education center in Topanga, California.
- Alzheimer’s Southern California (alz.org) – raises money for Alzheimer’s research.
- The Esther Benjamin’s Trust (www.ebtrust.org.uk) – saves young Nepali girls and women who have been trafficked to Indian circuses.
- Walk for the Underdog – raises money for dog rescue. Alas this one has gone under.
- Lotus Outreach (www.lotusoutreach.org) – promotes education for girls in Cambodia and India.
- Taking the Reins (www.TakingTheReins.org) – teaches underprivileged girls to work with horses.
- Camp del Corazon (www.CampDelCorazon.org) – sends children with heart disease to Camp del Corazon.
- Venice Family Clinic (www.VeniceFamilyClinic.org) – medical care for poor people.
- HerShe Group (www.HerSheGroup.org) – helps foster children transition out of the system.
- Much Love (www.MuchLove.org) – help for homeless pets.
- Daphneyland Basset Rescue Ranch (www.Daphneyland.com) – Basset Hound Rescue.

- Taking the Reins (takingthereins.org) – Inner city girls learn to ride and take care of horses
- Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue Inc (ridgebackrescue.org) – Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue
- Four Legged Friends Foundation (flff.org) – Helps seniors pay for vet care
- Exotic Animal Care Center of Pasadena – Helps exotics from birds to lizards to rabbits with vet care.
- Portal Shelter, a 501c3 that built temporary homes for Nepali people that lost their homes in the quake of 2015
- Waves for Water, supplying water filtration systems to Nepalis after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal.
- SAR Dogs Nepal – trains dogs in search and rescue in Nepal.
The list of good causes goes on forever. These are a good start.
